Q&A with Parker Hendershot

Parker Hendershot is a returning senior infielder on the Penn State baseball team. Learn more about who inspired him to pursue baseball and what he is like off the field. 
 

Who were your baseball role models growing up?

My grandfather, Ralph Hendershot, and my father, Tom Hendershot.

If you could play any position different from your own, what would it be?

I'd like to play shortstop because I used to play there my entire life.

What/Who inspired you to pursue baseball?

My father, Tom Hendershot.

What TV show could you watch over and over again and never get sick of?

Family Guy because it makes me laugh.

Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?

Elon Musk because he can do anything.

What is your favorite class you've taken at Penn State so far?

MIS (management information systems) 204 – Excel. I enjoyed learning all about Excel and how to use it.

What's your favorite thing about Penn State?

My favorite thing about Penn State is the opportunity and the friendships you can create.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Buy Bitcoin.

What does your ideal lazy day look like?

Call of Duty with the boys.

What instantly puts you in a good mood?

Any type of food.

What music are you listening to right now?

After Hours by The Weeknd.
