Steven Miller is a returning junior right-handed pitcher on the Penn State baseball team. Learn more about who inspired him to pursue baseball and what he is like off the field. 

Who were your baseball role models growing up?
Roberto Clemente
 
If you could play any position different from your own, what would it be?
Shortstop. I played it all my life and know I could still do it.
 
What/Who inspired you to pursue baseball?
My dad because he was always willing to throw batting practice and take me to watch games keeping me interested.
 
What's your go-to karaoke song?
Love Story by Taylor Swift.
 
What TV show could you watch over and over again and never get sick of?
South Park.
 
Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
Daniel Craig. I see myself as a James Bond type of character
 
What is your favorite class you've taken at Penn State so far?
Sociology 120N (Knowing Right from Wrong). It helped me reflect on my actions and work towards becoming my ideal self.
 
What's your favorite thing about Penn State?
Living with my friends while all being on the same schedule.
 
What would you do if you won the lottery?
Design my own house and fill the garage with cars. After I'd invest for my kids' college funds and put money away for a rainy day.
 
What does your ideal lazy day look like?
Sleep in, make a huge brunch, workout, make a good dinner, and finish the night with a new movie.
 
What instantly puts you in a good mood?
Lasagna
