The epitome of a student-athlete, Reedy, a redshirt senior from Kutztown, Pa., is a two-time graduate of Penn State. The midfielder finished his undergraduate degree in security and risk analysis in May 2020 and most recently completed a masters in corporate finance a month ago, holding impressive GPAs of 3.64 and 3.66, respectively.
This is the second set of national academic awards Reedy has received after being named a First Team Scholar All-American by United Soccer Coaches in May. He also earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Team accolades and is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten recipient.
On the pitch in the 2020-21 season, Reedy put together the best performance of his career, scoring a career-high five goals and adding four assists for a career-best 14 total points. For this, the team co-captain earned First Team All-Big Ten accolades and First Team All-North Region honors from United Soccer Coaches, culminating in a Third Team All-America status.
Reedy is the program's first member of the Academic All-District Team since Kyle MacDonald in 2014.
