NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its NCAA Division I All-Academic Athletes for the 2021 season on Thursday.
22 members of the Penn State track & field team received individual honors for their performance in the classroom in addition to both the Penn State men's and women's teams earning collective team honors. A full list of individual honorees can be found below.
Individual All-Academic honorees recorded a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
In order to be named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, squads must record a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
Penn State's women's team recorded a team GPA of 3.43, while the men's team compiled a GPA of 3.25.
