MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Penn State women's soccer team continues its road trip at Minnesota on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. The Nittany Lions and Gophers meet for the 32nd time in program history with Penn State holding a 24-5-2 advantage.

The University of Minnesota (5-3-3, 1-3-0 B1G) was unable to pull off the upset of No. 9 Rutgers (8-2-0, 3-0-0 B1G) at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium on Thursday night, ending in a score of 2-1. McKenna Buisman scored for the Gophers in the loss with Allison Lynch scoring the game-winning goal for the Scarlet Knights.

Jordan Canniff's goal was the first of her 2021 season. It was Canniff's first goal since October 10, 2019 against Ohio State after Canniff missing part of last season due to injury.
