Penn State Men’s and Women’s Teams Share Success in Home Dual Series

University Park, Pa. - The Nittany Lion fencers concluded action at the home dual series today versus  the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, the University of North Carolina, Columbia University, Haverford College, and Duke University.

Penn State also celebrated its 13 seniors today with festivities sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association. The recognition ceremony preceded competition with UNC in the afternoon portion of the meet.

During the competition, the men's team won against Haverford 24-3, UNC 20-7, and UPenn 17-10. The men lost against Columbia 16-11 and Duke 16-11.

The women's team won against Haverford 26-1, UNC 17-10, UPenn 17-10, Temple 16-11,  and Duke 14-13. The women lost against Columbia 14-13

Next weekend, the team will travel to St. John's  to compete against Columbia University, Harvard University, University of Notre Dame, and Ohio State University.
