UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Five Penn State players are set to participate in the USA Volleyball National Team Open Program on Feb. 25-27 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Making the trip west for the Lions will be senior Adanna Rollins and sophomores Anjelina Starck and Rachel Muisenga. They will be joined by incoming transfers Kashauna Williams and Zoe Weatherington.
The event is being led by U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly and his staff and is a part of the selection process for the U.S Women's National Team, NCAA Elite Athlete List, and 2022 Collegiate National Team.
One of the coaches helping Kiraly at the event will be Penn State's Katie Schumacher-Cawley, who took over for the Nittany lions in January after spending four seasons as an assistant in Happy Valley.
