BIRMINGHAM, England – Emma and Jack Harvey represented Bermuda at the 2022 Commonwealth Games last Friday through this Tuesday at Sandwell Aquatics Centre. The sister and brother were two of 17 athletes to compete in the Games and two of the only three swimmers.
A rising senior, Emma competed in four events. She advanced to the semifinals in 13th place in both the 50 Back (personal-best 29.27) and 100 Back (1:03.82) She finished 19th in the 50 Fly (27.78) and 22nd in the 100 Fly (1:02.27).
Jack, a returning sophomore, registered a time of 2:05.93 for 13th place in the 200 Back. In the 100 Back, he placed 20th with a time of 57.31 and finished 25th at 26.88 in the 50 Back.
