Garret Open Taking Place This Weekend at the White Building
Penn State fencing set to host second of three home events this season
 
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams will hold the 2022 Garret Penn State Open this weekend, Nov. 5-6, in the White Building. Action will commence at 8:30 a.m. on both days. Saturday will be dedicated to the women's events, with the men's events taking place on Sunday. 
 
Representing Penn State in women's sabre will be Amelia Baker, Mia Novick, Alexa Horan, Teagan McNally, Steph Jen and Ola Strzalkowski
 
Clarisse Tan, Grace Seal, Samantha Catantan, Claire Haas, Halah Keramane, Arianna Proietti and Ariel Ratsep will compete in women's foil. 
 
Participating in women's epee will be Grace Baranosky, Vama Maniar, Kateryna Chorniy, Nirali Igoe, Kim Jin, Jaclyn Khrol, Jordan Liverant, Helen Myers and Axelle Wasiak
 
The Penn State men's sabre squad will consist of Neil Lilov, Clement Perrier, Carlos Fernando Chacon and Jeffrey Basalyga
 
Competing in men's foil will be Dusan Zeljkovic, Arwen Borowiak, Caiden Cannon, Ignacio McGoff, Aidan Johnson, Donavyn Martinez, Konner Paik and Alejandro Toro.
 
Devin Tafoya, Noe Sitbon-Taylor, Jonathan Piskovatskov, Stafford Moosekian, Hassan Sultan, Tingwei Xu, Zachary Suico, Peter Kambeseles, Nicholas Glaz and Mitchel Bekker will all participate in men's epee.
