Penn State Diving Successful at West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Penn State diving competed against West Virginia at Mylan Park's Aquatic Center Saturday earning three event wins and NCAA Zone Cuts and four season-best scores. 
 
Men: 
The men's squad swept the day's events. Hayden Elliott took the 1-Meter (354.00) and Platform (331.58) dives while Kevin Sullivan won the 3-Meter (314.85).
 
Clinching victory by less than a point, Elliott notched the squad's best platform score of the season. The freshman also produced a zone score just four points away from his personal record in the 1-Meter.
 
Senior captain Sullivan narrowly missed a zone cut with a personal season-best in the 3-Meter. 
 
Women:
Senior captain Wei Wei and graduate student Daphne Wils placed second and third on the platform, both earning zone cuts with scores of 235.35 and 227.33, the latter a personal best for Wils.
 
Tatum Evans also improved on the boards with a personal season-best the 3-Meter (249.38), earning the sophomore third place.
