JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Penn State women's golf team will head back down to the Sunshine State for the North Florida Collegiate beginning on Monday morning. The two-day event will run through Tuesday afternoon.
Monday features 36 holes of continuous play beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Penn State will be paired with Kennesaw State and Xavier for the opening two rounds and will begin play on holes 3-6. Tuesday's final round will get underway with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.
The tournament, in its 10th year, is held at the 5,964-yard, par-72 Jacksonville Golf and Country Club. North Florida is the four-time defending champions entering the weekend.

OPPONENTS
- Penn State is joined by Iowa as the lone Big Ten teams in the 17-team field this week joining the host Ospreys along with Arkansas State, Daytona State, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Furman, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston State, UNC Charlotte, Memphis, South Alabama, Western Kentucky and Xavier.
THE TEAM
- The Nittany Lions competing this weekend remain the same from the first three events this spring with Senior's Mathilde Delavallade (Royan, France), Sarah Willis (Eaton, Ohio), Isha Dhruva (Katy, Texas) and Taylor Waller (Canonsburg, Pa.) joining sophomore Drew Nienhaus (St. Louis, Mo.) while sophomore Michelle Cox (Allentown, Pa.) will tee it up as an individual this week.
- Waller has been extremely consistent this spring firing back-to-back 2-over scores in the first two events last month in Florida, which included a career-best T-14th at the Columbia Classic three weeks ago.
- Willis carded three-consecutive 70's to open the semester at the UCF Challenge last month, including bogey-free rounds on Sunday and Tuesday, to finish the event 6-under, 210, and tied for 17th position, her 14th career top-20 finish. Willis' 54-hole total of 6-under, 210, is the second lowest of her career and the fifth lowest in program history.
- Delavallade paces the team with a 71.60 stroke average while Willis is second on the team with a 72.65 stroke average and Dhruva is third at 73.71.
NEXT UP
Penn State has a quick turnaround as they will remain in Florida for the week to practice before traveling to Charleston, South Carolina for the Briar's Creek Invitational the following Monday and Tuesday.
