UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State swimming and diving received 15 Scholar All-American selections by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). Eight from the men's program and seven from the women's program were honored with the award.
The members of the men's team were Lachlan Byrne (finance and economics), Andrew Christensen (DUS), Eduardo Cisternas (liberal arts & sciences), Ben Doyle (biology), Sam Folger (risk management), Mariano Lazzerini (business), William Lulek (agribusiness management) and Daniel Raisanen (marketing).
The members of the women's team were Molly Carson (wildlife, fish and wildlands science and management), Emma Harvey (economics and international politics), Olivia Jack (business analytics), Catherine Meisner (DUS), Julia Meisner (DUS), Morgan Rinn (elementary & early childhood education) and Cat Stanford (kinesiology).
To qualify for the honor, athletes had to achieve at 3.50 or better GPA and earn at least a "B" time standard for the national championships.
