UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 39 Penn State football alumni are populating the rosters of 25 National Football League organizations. The Nittany Lions annually rank among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL.
In week two of the NFL season, linebacker Micah Parsons once again fronted a Cowboys defensive unit that pressured the New York Jets all day. Parsons recorded two sacks and four quarterback hits in the game. Nick Scott continued to follow the ball carrier in week two, recording nine total tackles.
Offensively, Saquon Barkley scored a pair of touchdowns in the Giants' win. On special teams, Jordan Stout averaging a whopping 58.5 yards-per-boot on his two punts in the Ravens' win.
Wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley made his NFL debut for the Washington Commanders in week two following an inactive designation in Washington's opening game. Tinsley saw action on offense in his first NFL contest.
