Women's Ice Hockey Inks Five on National Signing Day

 
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Head coach Jeff Kampersal announced five additions to the Penn State women's ice hockey team on Wednesday's National Signing Day. The class features three Canadians and one Swedish student-athlete.

"The members of the 2028 class are gritty, trustworthy, team-first players and people" stated Kampersal. "We are delighted for them to join the Nittany Lion family and we are eager to help them develop on and off the ice."

Joining the Nittany Lions for the 2025 season will be Abby Stonehouse, Grace Outwater, Grace Tullock, Taya MacDonald and Nicole Hall.

Below is a closer look at each incoming student-athlete:

Abby Stonehouse | Forward | Blenheim, Ontario | Ursuline College Chatham

Parents are Lisa and Jeff Stonehouse… Jeff played Harvard Hockey from 1998-2002… Has one brother Brady who signed an ELC to the Edmonton Oilers (2023) … Majoring in Education/Undecided.

Invited to Team Canada Camp (Summer 2023) … Team Ontario Red member 2023… Competing Canadian in Nationals (November 2023) … Top Female Athlete at Louis Riel in 2021 … Honors Student … Volunteered to fundraise for the Do it for Daron (DIFD) Organization and helped coach girls in the Ottawa Lady Sens Program.
