HISTORY
- Penn State is facing Lindenwood for the 48th time in program history.
- Penn State and Lindenwood met for the first time in Nov. 2012, and had their most recent meeting in Feb. 2023.
- Penn State is 30-11-6 in the all-time series and have won the last eight straight games.
BOTHUN NAMED CHA GOALIE OF THE WEEK
- Senior goaltender Josie Bothun was named CHA Goaltender of the Week on Monday afternoon. This is her first weekly award honor this season.
- In the two games at Syracuse this past weekend, Bothun tallied a save percentage of .920 and GAA of 2.00. She recorded at total of 46 saves which helped lead Penn State to a series sweep of the Orange as the Nittany Lions defeated Syracuse 4-2 and 6-2.
- In game two of the series, Bothun suited up in her 100th career game as a Nittany Lion.
- On the season, Bothun holds a record of 3-6-1 with a .904 save percentage and GAA of 2.61.
RETRUM CAPTURES FIRST POINTS
- Freshman forward Stella Retrum captured her first collegiate goal at Syracuse on Sunday, Oct. 29.
- She also tallied an assist in the game which aided in the Nittany Lions 6-2 victory.
- The goal came in the closing seconds of the third period to held Penn State secure the victory.
JANECKE FACEOFF LEADER
- Forward Tessa Janecke has the second highest amount of faceoff wins in the country with 157.
- Janecke is one of ten underclassmen to be featured in the top 50.
