ROSEMONT, Ill. - Penn State men's lacrosse junior Will Peden was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week as the conference announced on Tuesday. This is his first Big Ten weekly award honor this season.
The Downington, Pa. native recorded his second five point game of the season as he fired four goals and added one assist in the Nittany Lions dominate 13-7 victory over Marquette on Saturday. On the year, Peden sits third on the team in points with 19 off 11 goals and eight assists. He has recorded at least four points in four of the seven games he has played this season.
Penn State returns to action on Sunday, March 24 when they begin Big Ten conference play at Ohio State. Game-time is set for 2:30 p.m.
