Wils to Represent Penn State at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship

ATHENS, Ga. - Penn State University women's swimming and diving's Daphne Wils is set to compete at the 2024 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The event begins on Wednesday, March 20 and continues through to Saturday, March 22. 

Wils will be competing in both the one meter and three meter springboard after qualifying at the NCAA Diving Zones in Princeton last week. 
 
Wils has had a very successful season breaking records and scoring big. In the meet against Army earlier this season she scored a 320.25 breaking a pool record. She also had an impressive score at the Big AI Invitational getting third in the one meter dive. 
 
While competing at the Big Ten Championships in West Lafayette, Wils had solid showings in both events. She placed 11th in the finals in the one meter, and 10th in the three meter. 
 
The NCAA Championships begin action tomorrow at the Jake Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia. Wils will compete starting Thursday in the one meter, and Friday in the three meter. 
 
Both dives are set to begin at 12:15 p.m. for the trials with finals later in the evening.
