UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Earlier this week the Penn State men’s ice hockey team announced game times and themes for its 2024-25 home schedule following the TV schedule announcement from last week.
2024-25 TV SCHEDULE
Penn State will have seven contests air nationally on the B1G Network while its remaining Big Ten games will be streamed on B1G+. The Nittany Lions’ final regular season game against Minnesota represents the lone home games that will be televised with both Friday and Saturday’s contests airing on B1G Network at 8:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
The first chance to catch Penn State on television comes on Thursday, December 5 at Ohio State with puck drop slated for 7:30 p.m. on B1G Network. The Nittany Lions then open the new year on B1G Network as part of the Frozen Confines at Wrigley Field against Notre Dame on Friday, January 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET. A single contest at Michigan on February 1 and both games in a series at Michigan State on February 21-22 will also air on B1G Network with puck drop slated for 6 p.m. each night.
As in years past the B1G semifinals and finals of the conference tournament will be broadcast on B1G Network.

2024-25 HOME GAME TIMES
The Nittany Lions open their home slate next weekend against St. Lawrence with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25 and 4 p.m. the following afternoon. Back-to-back Big Ten series against Wisconsin and Michigan will feature 7 p.m. puck drops on Friday evening with Saturday’s game times TBA until football gametimes are announced.
A pre-Thanksgiving series against Colgate will see puck drop times of 6 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27, respectively, to wrap up the opening semester home schedule.
The second semester will open with a series against Michigan State on January 10-11 with puck drop set for 7 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, followed by three-straight series against Canisius (January 17-18), Ohio State (January 24-25) and Notre Dame (February 14-15) which feature game times of 7 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Penn State then closes its home slate with the aforementioned series against Minnesota airing on B1G Network.
