UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Women’s Tennis (14-9, 5-8 B1G), the 12-seed in the Big Ten Tournament, faces off against fifth-seed Wisconsin (17-4, 10-3 B1G) on Wednesday, April 23 at 3 p.m. at the Ojai Valley Tennis Club at Libbey Park in Ojai, California.
All Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament matches will be live streamed on B1G+.The winner will face No. 4 seed UCLA on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.
Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament History
- The program received a first round bye as the 10-seed at last season’s event before beating No. 7 seed Iowa 4-2 in the second round. It was the program’s first victory at the Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament for Head Coach Alexandra McIntyre.
- The Nittany Lions fell in the quarterfinals to No. 2 seed Ohio State, 4-1.
- The program made the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament for three consecutive seasons from 2005 to 2007.
