UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State softball program and head coach Clarisa Crowell announced the additions of infielder Kalli Karwowski and left-handed pitcher Brevyn Kellepouris to the team’s star-studded incoming 2025-26 freshman class on Wednesday afternoon.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce the commitments of Kalli Karwowski and Brevyn Kellepouris, and we are excited for their arrival to campus this fall,” Crowell said. “Kalli is a Pennsylvania native and a standout shortstop from Valley View High School, and she will be a great addition to our middle infield. Brevyn is a talented left-handed pitcher from Olathe West High School in Kansas City, and she will be an integral part of our pitching staff. Both Kalli and Brevyn play for nationally recognized travel ball programs, and their experience and success at a high level have well prepared them for our program.
Karwowski and Kellepouris round out a seven-person incoming signing class for the Blue & White, with the duo joining the nationally recognized corps of pitcher Mackenzie Duncan, infielder Kirsten Finarelli, pitcher/infielder Gabby Gradishar, outfielder Breanna Hanik and infielder Allison Oneacre. With the additions of Karwowski and Kellepouris in tow, the class now boasts representatives from six different states including Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Georgia, and a pair of student athletes from the Keystone State of Pennsylvania. The seven-member group marks the largest single signing class of the Crowell era in Happy Valley, surpassing a five-member group the signed on NSD in the 2022 campaign.
