After a solid preseason in 2006, O[apos]Connor saw his season come to a halt after breaking his collarbone. But in undeniably the most inspirational comeback of the season, O[apos]Connor quickly bounced back and finished the season in the Nittany Lion top seven. O[apos]Connor continued to improve throughout the spring, running outstanding 10Ks at both Penn Relays and the Big Ten Championships.
From Archbishop Ryan in Philadelphia, O[apos]Connor lettered his freshman year in cross country. He was an All-Catholic first-team selection all four years in high school.
