Coach Sintchinov is entering his ninth year as assistant coach. Sintchinov has an extensive fencing resume and has been a professional coach since 1976. He also has the recognition of being a Master of Sport in Fencing.
During his international coaching tenure, Sintchinov was the head coach of the Belarus, Egypt and Tunisia National Teams. In 1991, Sintchinov was named Honored Coach of Belarus for his time with the team. He also served as the head coach of the 2000 Egypt Olympic Team.
Sintchinov was a sought-after private and club coach from 2004-2011 before making the move into collegiate coaching, joining the Ohio State Staff in 2011. Sintchinov spent three years in Columbus as an assistant coach, helping guide the program to the 2012 NCAA Championships. Sintchinov studied at the Belarussian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, specializing in coaching and teaching.
