2018-2019 (Senior): Lieb finsihed his senior season going 2-2 in singles play with a win over St. Bonaventure at the No. 5 spot. He also finished 3-3 in doubles, earning two victories with partner Noah Sutter at ITA Atlantic Regionals.
2017-2018 (Junior): Zach had a solid fall season going 2-1. His only tournament of the first half of the season was the ITA Regionals where he advanced to the third round of the main draw. During the spring season, Zach posted a 2-4 singles record with several close decisions. Zach also went 1-1 in doubles competition, defeating Colgate with partner Gabriel Nemeth.
2016-2017 (Sophomore): Zach began his sophomore season strong by winning his flight title in the Ivy Plus Invitational, finishing the tournament undefeated. At the Big Ten Indoor Championships, Zach went 3-1 in singles competition and won his consolation flight. His success continued into the spring season where he won five out of his six singles matches. In doubles, Zach defeated NJIT with partner Christian Lutschaunig and defeating Temple with pair Matt Galush. He finished his doubles spring season 2-2.
2015-2016 (Freshman): Zach Lieb had a winning 6-5 record in doubles this season. He began the fall tournament circuit with three straight wins with partner Tomas Hanzlik. Lieb continued in to the fall with a win against No. 50 Purdue partnered with Roman Trkulja. Lieb also had a winning record in singles, finishing the season 5-4 overall. During the fall, Lieb made it to the round of 16 at the Ivy Plus Invitational where he defeated No. 52 Princeton.
Before Penn State: Lieb was a four-time All DelCo player during his time at The Haverford School. During his senior year, Lieb went First Team All-American for first singles while also being the caption of his team. Him and his twin brother went on to win two National Doubles Championships. Lieb was ranked in the Top 40 High School players in the nation while at The Haverford School. He won the New England/Mid-Atlantic Championships and the Philadelphia Cup Championships 2012, 2013, and 2015. Lieb was awarded the Coaches Inter-Ac Sportsmanship Award for his leadership and sportsmanship by all the coaches in the league. His overall record coming into Penn State was 94-1-1.
