All-American 2013, 2014, 2015
LION CAREER:
2014-15: Luminet had another successful season with the Nittany Lions in 2014-15, ending the season with a winning record of 32-17. During the season, Luminet recorded five 3-0 performances against Harvard, NYU, UPenn, and St. John's. Capping off a great junior season, Luminet advanced to the NCAA finals, where she finished in sixth place on foil. Luminet's stellar performance at the NCAA Championship also secured her third All-American status.
2013-14: In her second year as a Nittany Lion, Luminet saw plenty of action. The now two-time All-American finished her regular season 35-16. At Regionals, Luminet placed third qualifying her to compete at the NCAA Championships. At the championship, she went on to finish 7th.
2012-13: Luminet had an outstanding freshman year, which earned her an All-American status. The France native placed second at the Regional to earn a bid to the NCAA Championships. At the championships, she won 15 of her bouts to place seventh. Luminet finished the regular season with a record of 40-14. She had seven 3-0 performances that came against NYU, Harvard, UNC, Temple, St. John's, Duke, and Wayne State. The freshman also placed fifth at the Garret Open.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Clarisse Luminet comes to Penn State from Lyon, France. She plans to major in Communication Arts and Sciences.
