PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Amelkovich spent five seasons at Shattuck-St. Mary's. She competed with the Prep team from 2023-26, appearing in 152 games while recording 76 goals and 83 assists for 159 points. Amelkovich helped Shattuck-St. Mary's capture the 2024 USA Hockey U19 National Championship. Before joining the Prep team, she skated for the U16 team from 2021-23, totaling 33 goals and 42 assists for 75 points in 110 games.
International Experience
Amelkovich represented Team USA at the IIHF U18 Women's World Championship in both 2025 and 2026. In 2026, she was named assistant captain, and appeared in all six games, recording two goals and 12 assists for 14 points while helping the United States become the first team in tournament history to complete a "perfect gold," never trailing or being tied at any point during the tournament. Team USA capped its undefeated run with a 2-0 victory over Canada in the gold-medal game.
She also represented the United States at the 2025 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship, appearing in all six games and totaling three goals and two assists for five points while helping Team USA earn the silver medal.

Parents are Stanley and Amy...has one brother, Owen (21)...enjoys coaching, baking, and playing spikeball outside of the rink...inducted into the Cum Laude Society in high school... graduated high school as salutatorian...intends to major in economics...hopes to pursue a professional hockey career following graduation.
