2023-24 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Named to the United States roster in both November and December 2023 rivalry series games. Invited to U.S. Women’s National Team Evaluation Camp, then was named to the team for the IIHF World Championship. Earned a spot on the CCM/AHCA Second Team Division I All-American team. Received multiple CHA Weekly and Monthly Awards: CHA Forward of the Month (November, December, January), CHA Forward of the Week (11/27, 12/5, 1/15, 1/29), and CHA Player and Forward of the Year. Placed on the First Team All-CHA team for the season. Named one of the top 10 finalists for the Patty Kazmaier award for the top player in Division I women’s ice hockey.
Season: Saw action in all 38 games for the Nittany Lions... Recorded a team-high 17 goals and 36 assists for 53 points this season.
at Syracuse (10/29): Scored her first goal of the season in the third period, and assisted teammate Julie Gough with the game-opening goal. at Lindenwood (11/4): Added three assists in Penn State win. at Dartmouth (11/24): Scored the equalizer goal on the power-play in the third period, assisted in two goals. at Dartmouth (11/25): Recorded her second-career hat-trick and assisted on four goals. Robert Morris (12/1): Scored one of two goals in Penn State shutout win and assisted in the other. Robert Morris (12/2): Found the back of the net twice, once early in the second period and again with a shorthanded goal. Union (1/6): Assisted teammates in three goals. at RIT (1/12): Put the first point of the game on the board with a goal in the middle of the third period then assisted Katelyn Roberts on the power play. Lindenwood (1/26): Recorded her second hat trick and assisted three for six points. RIT (2/16): Scored the first Penn State goal of the game then added an assist.
2022-23 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Awards: Won a gold medal with the U.S. Women's Hockey Team. Selected to the Team USA for the Women's World Championship. Captured USCHO Co-Rookie of the Year. Named to the All-USCHO Rookie team. Named to the United States National Team for the December Rivalry Series games. Named HCA Rookie of the Year. Received CHA Rookie of the Year honor. Announced as HCA National Rookie of the Month for December. Captured CHA Rookie of the Month for October, December, January and February. Awarded CHA Forward of the Month for February. Named CHA Rookie of the Week (9/26, 10/31, 12/5, 1/3, 1/24, 2/6 & 2/20). Added to the HCA Rookie of the Year Watch List. Invited to the U.S. Women's National Team Evaluation Camp.
Season: Skated in 38 games...Recorded 22 goals and 25 assists on 173 shots on net.
Wisconsin (9/22): Posted three points (2G, 1A) in her Penn State debut...Led the team in blocked shots with 5. at Boston College (10/15): Scored a pair of goals in her second multi-goal game of the season. Franklin Pierce (10/23-24): Recorded an unanswered goal in Sunday's matchup...Found the back of the net on a power-play. at Lindenwood (10/28-29): Had a wraparound goal on a penalty-kill... Tallied two goals and one assists on the day. Mercyhurst (11/4): Secured the 4-1 victory with a power-play goal late in the second period. Brown (11/13): Recorded her ninth goal in ten games. Syracuse (12/3-4): Sealed the game with a breakaway goal... Assisted three goal scorers in the single game record of 11 goals. LIU (12/30-31): Nailed the game-winner goal to secure 4-3 victory...Led the Nittany Lions with four points featuring one goal and three assists. RIT (1/14): Tallied tenth multi-point game with one goal and one assist. at Mercyhurst (1/23): Tallied her 12th multi-point game with a goal and two assists. vs. Lindenwood (2/25): Recorded her first career hat-trick and added two assists.
PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Attended the North American Hockey Academy where she captained the Winter Hawks and posted 46 goals and 76 assists in 78 games in her senior season...Won a silver medal at the 2022 U18 Women's World Championships where the IIHF named one of Team USA's three best players of the tournament...Competed for the United States as part of the 2022 Collegiate Select Team roster alongside former Penn State associate head coach Allison Coomey...Team USA won the series, 2-1, with Janecke scoring three goals during the tournament...Selected for the 2021 USA Hockey Women's Festival....Named to the JWHL's 1st team for the 2019-20 season...Participated in the 2018 USA Hockey Girls U18 Select Player Development Camp and the 2015 USA Hockey Girls U15 Select Player Development Camp...Lettered in ice hockey and softball for four years...Three-time First Team-All State honoree as softball player in high school...Took third place at the 2021 IHSA state softball tournament.
