The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

The Participant Form must be completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Lacrosse Winter Camp, January 18
Grades 8-12

The focus of the Penn State Lacrosse Winter Camp is to provide expert instruction from the Penn State coaching staff and players. The camp will enhance stick work skills, offensive and defensive concepts, as well as overall competitive team play.

Goalie Instruction

Goalkeepers will get individualized attention with emphasis on technique, hand speed, and footwork. Drills and individual instruction for goalies will be provided to enhance the development of actual game experience with the mental aspects of being a goalkeeper.

Fee: $275 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY /NO HOUSING 

Meals: Not provided. Bring your own lunch/snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp.  Water will be provided. Participants will not be supervised during meal breaks and should plan to leave facility during mealtime if possible.

When:  January 18                      9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Where: Holuba Hall

Holuba Hall is located off McKean Road. East Area Locker Room (EALR) is located directly across from Holuba Hall.  In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by e-mail concerning any changes or cancellation.

 

 

What to Bring for Camp
Campers should bring their own lacrosse sticks. Mouth guards and goggles are mandatory. Turf shoes or cleats are recommended. Goalkeepers should bring all necessary gear (pads & helmet). 
Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
 
Staff: --The Penn State Girls Lacrosse Camp guarantees a 1:10 ratio of coaches to players and includes college coaches and the Penn State staff and players.
