Friday's match-up at Ohio State is as pivotal a Big Ten contest as it gets as a win would ensure Penn State its 10th consecutive conference crown. The Nittany Lions (14-3-1, 8-1-0 Big Ten) control their own destiny in their quest for the Big Ten title, which would be the team's first under new head coach Erica Walsh. SERIES HISTORY VS. OHIO STATE... Penn State will try to continue its winning ways against Ohio State as PSU currently owns a 12-4 advantage in the all-time series. In their meeting, the Nittany Lions downed the Buckeyes in a 1-0 shutout with the game's only goal scored by Katie Schoepfer (Waterford, Conn.) in the seventh minute. The two teams met for the first time in 1994 when Ohio State defeated Penn State 0-2 in Columbus.
ADEN-BUIE, SCHOEPFER INCREDIBLE 1-2 PUNCH FOR PSU... Off to another successful year, Penn State has enjoyed the steady contributions of two elite strikers in senior Aubrey Aden-Buie (Allentown, Pa.) and sophomore Katie Schoepfer (Waterford, Conn.). The Nittany Lions are 12-0-1 when at least one of the two scores a goal, but is 2-3 without a score from one of the pair.

The streak is tied with Indiana women's tennis and Northwestern women's tennis for the second-longest in the 25 years of Big Ten women's championships.
