The Penn State women's golf team looks to regain their momentum in Wisconsin this weekend following an eighth place finish at the Princeton Invitational.

This will be the fourth tournament for the Nittany Lions, starting the second half of their fall season. There will be 12 teams competing, including California, Indiana, Tulane, Maryland and Illinois.

Penn State's lineup will feature Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy), Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia), Victoria Arena (Lansdale, Pa.), Lindsay Cullen (Allen, Texas) and Emily Riddle (St. Mary's, Pa.).

"We're very excited about this weekend's tournament," said head coach Denise St. Pierre. "We've talked about things and realize that we need to play better than last weekend. This is the more competitive part of the fall season. We're really excited to play California because they're ranked second in the nation so they'll give us really good competition, which will hopefully make us better."

The Badger Invitational will be held at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisc. Action will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 27 to 28. Play will begin each day with a shotgun start, with two rounds on Saturday and one round on Sunday.
