The 19th-ranked Penn State women's gymnastics team travels to No. 20 West Virginia Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. match-up with the Mountaineers. Live scoring will be available via a link at www.GoPSUsports.com.

Last Time Out
For the second weekend in a row, the Penn State women's gymnastics team posted a season-high team score en route to winning the meet. On March 1, the Nittany Lions put up their highest team score since the 2007 season, posting a 196.650 en route to upsetting No. 11 Alabama (196.625) and defeating No. 19 Ohio State (196.050). As a team, Penn State recorded scores of 49.150 on vault, a season-high 49.250 on bars, 49.100 on beam and 49.150 on floor. Brandi Personett earned the Ann Carr Award for the most inspirational gymnast of the meet after posting a career-best 39.600 in the all-around, the highest all-around score since the 2003 season.

Brandi Personett is 24th in the all-around with a Regional Qualifying Average of 39.180 and ranks third in the country on floor with a Regional Qualifying Average of 9.900.

Personett Goes For Two Straight
Junior Brandi Personett picked up her second straight and eighth career Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors on March 2. Personett earned the Ann Carr Award for the most inspirational gymnast of the meet, helping lead Penn State to a first place finish over No. 11 Alabama and No. 19 Ohio State on March 1 after posting a career-best 39.600 in the all-around. Her score marked the highest all-around total since the 2003 season. The Katy, Texas native tallied a first-place 9.900 on vault, a first-place and career-high 9.925 on bars, a sixth-place 9.825 on beam and a first-place and career-high-tying 9.950 on floor en route to the all-around crown, her fifth individual all-around title of the season. The vault title was the seventh of the season for Personett, who also picked up her third uneven bars crown, her seventh floor title and her sixth individual all-around first-place finish.

On Feb. 23, Personett picked up her fifth individual all-around title and her seventh top-three all-around finish with a 39.450 in Penn State's second quad meet of the year against New Hampshire, Rutgers and Bridgeport. The junior earned her sixth vault title with a 9.900, her fifth straight 9.9 or better in the event. On bars, Personett finished second with a 9.850, her third-highest score of the year, and on beam, she placed fifth with a 9.825, just shy of her season high of 9.850. Personett captured her sixth individual crown on floor with a 9.875.
