GAINESVILLE, Fla. -
Two members of the Penn State women's gymnastics team finished among the nation's best at the 2010 NCAA Championships Individual Event Finals on Saturday evening in Gainesville, Fla.
Senior Brandi Personett (Katy, Texas) competed on beam and floor. She finished second in the nation on floor with a 9.900 and also turned in a seventh-place finish on beam scoring a 9.8375. Personett earned First Team All-America accolades on beam, floor and all-around in the second session of the preliminaries on Thursday, April 22. She finished her career with five total All-America honors.
Freshman Sharaya Musser (Colorado Springs, Colo.) competed on vault in the Individual Event Finals. She finished 17th with a 9.4813. Musser garnered First Team All-America status on vault and in the all-around on April 22, while earning Second Team All-America laurels on beam and floor.
