UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -
The Penn State fencing teams are heading into post-season action. The No. 2 Men's team and the No. 6 women's team will head to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional this Saturday, March 8 in Easton, Pa. at Lafayette College.
Competing for the women's team this weekend are:
Women's Epee: Sophomore Jessica Lyublinsky-O'Niell(North Salem, N.Y.) and freshman Jessie Radanovich (Frisco, Calif.).
Women's Foil: Freshman Desree Ortega-Furgeson (Wyoming, Mich.), sophomore Clarisse Luminet (Lyon, France), juniors Kane Gladnick (Wynnewood, Pa.), Alina Antokhina (Moscow, Russia), and Elizabeth Rapp (Portland, Ore.).
Women's Saber: Graduate student Heather Nelson (Albany, N.Y.), Senior Nicole Glon (State College, PA), junior Elizabeth Rapp (Portland, Ore.), and freshman Teodora Kakihani (Tbilisi, Georgia).
Competing for the men's team this weekend are:
Men's Epee: Junior Jeffrey Miller (Centennial, Colo.), sophomores Oskar Tang (Stockholm, Sweden) and Yasser Mahmoud (Quincy, Mass.), and freshman Conor Shepard (Colleyville, Texas).
Men's Foil: Seniors David Willette (Lafayette, Calif.) and Jeremy Goldstein (Westport, Conn.), junior David Gomez-Tanamachi (Mexico City, Mexico), and sophomore Nobuo Bravo (San Francisco, Calif.).
Men's Saber: Senior Adrian Bak (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), juniors Pawel Puchalski (Lake Forrest, Ill.) and Alex Schneller (Billerica, Mass.), sophomore Kaito Streets (Redwood City, Calif.), and freshmen Adam Lewicki (Oakland, Calif.).
