UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; February 10, 2017ââ'¬" The Penn State women's team takes on Pittsburgh this Sunday, February 12. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Penn State Indoor Tennis Center. The Nittany Lions enter their sixth straight home match with a 2-3 record after battling hard with a tough No. 25 Kentucky team last weekend. The Panthers are coming off a 4-3 win against Duquesne at home.
"Pitt has always competed hard against us and I expect nothing less on Sunday," said head coach Chris Cagle. "We will be ready and will bring our own intensity as well. They got us last year at their place so we will look to learn from that and be ready on Sunday at 1:00 pm."
Katia Blik (Moscow, Russia) leads the team with a 3-1 singles record. Samantha Smith (Cary, N.C.), Dasha Sapogova (Belarus, Minsk) and Shannon Hanley (Kensington, Md.) are tied with a 3-2 singles record.

This will be Penn State's final matchup in a six game home slate before taking on opponents on the road. The team will travels for the first time this season to Columbus, OH next Sunday, February 19. First serve is at 12:00 p.m.
