UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.
-- Penn State men's golf will compete in its first stroke play tournament of the spring season in a 14-team field at the Seminole Intercollegiate March 10-12 at the Southwood Golf Course in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Lions come into the tournament after two head-to-head stroke play victories against West Virginia and Michigan State and a second place finish in the Big Ten Match Play Championship earlier this spring.

Six Lions will compete this weekend in the Sunshine State, five starters with one individual. Junior Cole Miller (New Tripoli, Pa.) will look to lead the Lions along with a trio of underclassmen in sophomore Charles Huntzinger (Duluth, Ga.) who was recently selected as a watch list nominee for the Palmer Cup for a second consecutive season, sophomore Ryan Dornes (Lancaster, Pa.) and freshman Ryan Davis (Berkeley Heights, N.J.). Senior Christian Elliott (Port Perry, Ontario) rounds out the starting lineup and sophomore JD Hughes (Carlisle, Pa.) will don the Blue and White playing as an individual.

The Lions will begin first action play beginning at 9:25 a.m. paired with student-athletes from Jacksonville and James Madison.
