Arceri added to Tewaaraton Watch List

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Penn State sophomore Gerard Arceri has been announced in the first round of additions to the 2018 Tewaaraton Award Watch List, joining teammate Grant Ament on the list of early contenders.

Arceri has proven to be one of the top faceoff specialists in the nation as he leads the Big Ten and is third in the nation in winning percentage at 71.6-percent and is second in the nation for ground balls per game at 13.00. The sophomore has scored a career-best five goals and has added one assist to his stat line this season.

He joins Grant Ament, who was named to the initial 2018 Tewaaraton Award Watch List back on March 1.

The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.
