FNC: Penn State Ready for NCAA Regionals

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" Head coach Wes Glon's Nittany Lions starts the postseason with the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals this Saturday, March 10th, in Easton, Pa. This weekend's action will begin at 9 a.m. and runs all day.

Fencing this weekend for the men will be:

Foil- Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Mohamed Hassan (Saint Louis, Mo.), Andrey Ostatnigrosh (Fresno, Calif.) and Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy).

Epee- Stefan Nico Popovici (Katy, Texas), Joshua Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Anton Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas) and Clinton Rodell (Annandale,Va.).

Saber- Matt Lewicki (Oakland, N.J.), Marcel Dolegiewicz (Park Ridge, Ill.), Karol Metryka (Linden, N.J.) and Andrew Mackiewicz (Westwood, Mass.).

Fencing this weekend for the women are:

Foil- Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Jade Rowland (Princeton Junction, N.J.) and Lodovica Bicego (Vicenza, Italy).

Epee- Barbara VanBenthuysen (Spring, Texas), Nicolette Vigna (Thornwood, N.Y.), Anastasia Kalonji (Rennes, France) and Yumin Wang (Monmouth Junction, N.J.).

Saber- DeAna Oliver (Montclair, N.J.), Karen Chang (Hong Kong, China), Zara Moss (Cranberry Township, Pa.) and Kelli Wozniak (Westerville, Ohio).

The Mid-Atlantic/South Regional event is part of the qualifying process for the 2018 NCAA Fencing Championships, hosted by Penn State in two weeks.
