Nittany Lions in the NFL – Week 15

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A total of 33 Penn State football alumni are populating the rosters of 20 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions are perennially a top-20 program in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com provides updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.
 
The former Nittany Lion and now NFC East running back duo of Saquon Barkley and Miles Sanders shined on Sunday, as both scored two touchdowns each in wins. Barkley surpassed 100 yards rushing for the Giants for the first time since an early-season injury, while Sanders set an Eagles rookie single-season record for rushing yards.
 
Former Penn State wide receivers Allen Robinson and Chris Godwin both posted 100-yard games. However, Godwin was carted off the field with a hamstring injury.
 
On defense, Sean Lee led former Nittany Lions with an interception and a sack in a crucial win for the Cowboys over the Rams.

Barkley posted his first 100-yard rushing game since Week 2 and scored his first rushing touchdowns since Week 7, as he finished with 112 yards and two touchdowns on a season-high 24 carries. He also added 31 yards on four catches.
