Penn State Fencing Teams Travel to Duke University This Weekend in a Dual Series

University Park, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams be on the road this weekend in Durham, N.C. Penn State will be competing on Saturday, Feb. 12 and Sunday, Feb. 13 against Duke, North Carolina, Brandeis, Air Force, Johns Hopkins and Temple. The men's team will compete Saturday, and the women's team will compete Sunday. 

Fencing for the women will be: 

Epee: Kateryna Chorniy (Kyiv, Ukraine), Sabine Desamours (Warrington, Va.), Nirali Igoe (Washington, D.C.), Jaclyn Khrol (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Evelyn Pham (Houston, Texas), and Axelle Wasiak (Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium) 

Foil: Samantha Catantan (Quezon City, Philippines), Claire Haas (Port Matilda, Pa.), Ximena Iriarte-Estrada (Huixquilucan, Mexico), Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Arianna Proietti (Como, Italy), Ariel Rastep (San Francisco, Calif.), and Mikaela Yhip (Chico, Calif.) 

Saber: Pauline Conscience (Paris, France), Steph Jen (Taichung, Taiwan), and Ola Stralkowski (Littleton, Colo.),

Foil: Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy), Arwen Borowiak (Tauberbischofsheim, Germany), Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Aidan Johnson (Oceanport, N.J.), Donavyn Martinez (Fresno, Calif.), Nicholas Prince (Brooklyn, N.Y.)

Following this weekend, Penn State fencing will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah for the Junior Olympics.
