Oweh, Godwin highlight Week 2 performances by former Nittany Lions

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 46 Penn State Football alumni are populating the rosters of 24 National Football League organizations. The Nittany Lions annually rank among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL.

Odafe Oweh recorded a career-best 2.5 sacks for the Ravens on Sunday in a dominant defensive performance. Additionally on the defensive side of the ball, Jaquan Brisker posted a season-high eight tackles for the Bears. Offensively, Chris Godwin recorded his first 100-plus-yard game of the season, tallying 117 on seven catches. He currently is tied for second in the NFL with 200 receiving yards through the first two contests of the season. Mike Gesicki had an outstanding game for the Bengals, recording seven catches for 91 yards. Gesicki currently is fifth in the NFL among tight ends with 109 receiving yards.
