Men’s Tennis Ready for Cornell Invitational Tournament

Nittany Lions will travel to Ithaca, N.Y. for fourth fall tournament of season

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Penn State men’s tennis team is prepared to play at the Cornell Invitational this weekend in Ithaca, N.Y. The tournament is set to begin Friday Nov. 1 and conclude on Sunday Nov. 3. The event, hosted by Cornell, will be held at the Reis Tennis Center.  

Representing the Nittany Lions are graduate students Charl Morgan and Sam Bossem, Sophomores Nolan Ranger and Alex Sterin and all four freshmen, Shri Murugesan, Denys Forgaci, Reiya Hattori and David Lindsay. 

Morgan comes off a successful tournament at ITA Regionals Oct. 17-21 in Philadelphia, Pa. with two strong singles wins that sent him to the Round of 16, and an 8-6 doubles win with partner Bossem.  

Official play for the Cornell Invitiational will begin on Friday Nov. 1 at 8:30 a.m.
