Barkley continues strong season, Ebiketie, Parsons, post multi-sack outings

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 46 Penn State Football alumni are populating the rosters of 24 National Football League organizations. The Nittany Lions annually rank among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL.

Saquon Barkley rushed 23 times for 107 yards and a touchdown in Philadelphia’s win over Baltimore. The Pennsylvania native currently leads the NFL in rushing yards and rushing yards per game, and is tied for the league lead in yards per carry (min. 65 carries). He has already eclipsed his career-best mark in rushing yardage with five games still on the Eagles’ 2024 schedule.

Arnold Ebiketie recorded the first two-sack performance of his NFL career on Sunday. Pass rusher Micah Parsons tallied 1.5 sacks and four quarterback hits in the Cowboys’ divisional win over the Giants. Punter Blake Gillikin kicked himself into the top five in the NFL in net punting average, landing his lone punt inside the 20-yard line on Sunday.
