COACH CROWELL AVAILABILITY
Penn State head coach Clarisa Crowell will be available for weekly media interview sessions over the course of the 2026 season. Weekly media availabilities will be conducted via zoom on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. unless otherwise notified. For interview opportunities outside of Coach Crowell’s weekly availability, contact Nick Whitley in the Penn State Strategic Communications office.
PLAYER INTERVIEWS
All student-athlete interviews must be arranged through Nick Whitley at least 48 hours in advance. Interviews will not be granted on game days prior to first pitch. Player phone numbers will not be released. Following games, requested Penn State student-athletes will be made available for comment.
MEDIA CREDENTIALS
Press credentials are issued to accredited members of the working media only. Requests for media credentials should be made through Penn State’s spring credential portal. Requests for credentials may also be directed to Nick Whitley no later than noon (ET) the Thursday before a weekend series, or the Monday before a midweek contest. Credentials will be available for pickup at the south entry to the team building on game days.

A working press credential must be issued to any individual taking photographs at Nittany Lion Softball Park for commercial use, or use in a professional portfolio. Photo wells are located on the first and third base lines at the end of each dugout. Photo wells can only be accessed at the end of each half-inning. See the “Media Credentials” section for information on requesting a credential.
MEDIA SEATING
Seating inside the Stine Family Media Center and at the third base line media tables is limited, with space available on a first-come, first-served basis. To request media seating at Nittany Lion Softball Park, contact Nick Whitley in the Penn State Strategic Communications Office.
GAME NOTES
Game notes will be available at least 24 hours prior to each tournament, weekend series or single midweek game. Penn State and opponent game notes will be available online on the Nittany Lion Softball Media Central webpage.
