LION CAREER:
2009: Sampson played in one game for Penn State last year, winning three of four face-offs and grabbing a ground ball before an injury ended his season. He then received an injury red-shirt and maintains his sophomore eligibility status.
2008:Sampson played in one game for Penn State.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Sampson was the offensive MVP for the Vikings as a sophomore and followed that up with two straight first team all-conference awards. A four-year lettermen, he was voted team captain as a junior and senior. As a sophomore, he scored the game-winning goal in the contest that clinched the league title for WCE. Sampson also lettered in football four years. He is the son of Don and Pam Sampson and has one sister, Katy. Sampson is a commercial recreation major at Penn State.
