LION CAREER:
2009: Etter played in 12 of Penn State[apos]s 14 games last season, starting five. A key member of the Nittany Lion defense, Etter had 12 ground balls during the course of the campaign as well.
2008: Etter saw action in all 14 of Penn State[apos]s games in 2008, starting each one. The Maryland native had 21 ground balls and became on of Penn State[apos]s most consistent defenders.
2007: Etter played in 11 of Penn State[apos]s 13 games as a true freshman in 2007. He had three ground balls in his first season of collegiate lacrosse and earned a letter was well.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Etter was a first team all-county pick by the Baltimore Sun, the Washington Post and the Annapolis Capital. A talented defender, he was his team[apos]s Defenseman of the Year and played in the Maryland State Lacrosse Association Senior All-Star Game. He is the son of Dr. Robert and JoAnn Etter. His brother, Sean, was a three-year letterman for PSU and is an `06 grad. Kevin is a psychology major at Penn State.

'Kevin will be a strong senior leader of the close defense; he has played a vital role for three seasons, and will be expected to handle some tough 1 on 1 match ups with opponents.
