LION CAREER:
2010: Donley played in nine games for the Nittany Lions in 2010. The Pittsburgh-native had one goal, scoring in Penn State[apos]s game at Notre Dame on February 28. He also had one ground ball.
2009: Donley had a solid sophomore campaign, playing in every game for the Nittany Lions last season, starting one. He had a goal and an assist for two points and grabbed three ground balls as well.
2008: Donley played in 11 games for Penn State last year, scoring two goals and dishing off two assists for four points. Donley had two ground balls as well.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Donley was a four-time letterman at Pittsburgh[apos]s Central Catholic High School. He earned All-League honors for three straight seasons and All-American laurels as a junior and senior. Voted team captain as a junior and senior, Donley helped guide his team to a Division title in 2005 and a league title in 2006. A talented and versatile athlete, he also lettered in football for two straight years. Donley was president of the National Honor Society as he graduated No. 4 in his class academically. He also earned the Academic Achievement Award in English and plans on majoring in journalism at Penn State. He is the son of Maggie and Bill Donley and has a younger brother, Peter, and an older sister, Emma. His father is a Penn State grad and his mother was a Penn State cheerleader as well as a PSU grad.
