LION CAREER:
2009:Ridgway emerged as a key factor for Penn State last year, playing in 12 games as a true freshman. He scored five points off two goals and three assists and grabbed four ground balls.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Ridgway was a high school All-American last year and was a two-time All-State pick at LaSalle High School. Ridgway earned all-league honors three times and was also an Under Armour All-American. Ridgway is one of three high school All-Americans in Penn State[apos]s incoming recruiting class. He is the son of Conrad and Shawn Ridgway. He has one younger brother, Cody, and plans on majoring in finance.
COACHES VIEW:
'Conrad challenges Chris Hogan for the hardest shot on the team, but must work at getting it off quicker. Conrad saw key action as a freshman and he should be able to register key goals this spring. Our job will be to work Conrad off more picks to free up his shot. He should be a key for us on EMO chances this year.' - Coach Thiel
