LION CAREER:
2010: Garrity did not play in any games during the 2010 season.
2009: Garrity played in every game for the Nittany Lions as a sophomore, scoring three goals and collecting 12 ground balls. Garrity netted three goals on four total shots taken. Garrity scored his first career goal in Penn State[apos]s 10-8 win at Villanova.
2008: Garrity played in ten games for Penn State, collected five ground balls and took four shots.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Garrity was a four-year letterman at Strath Haven High School where he served as team captain twice (junior and senior years). He scored 270 points off 122 goals and 148 assists, including a 45 goal, 47 assist senior campaign. Garrity also lettered in soccer and was a National Honor Society member. He is the son of Paul and Margie Garrity and has a younger sister, Emily, who plays lacrosse at UNC. His mother played lacrosse and field hockey at West Chester and his father played lacrosse at Drexel. Garrity is an actuarial science major.
