LION CAREER:
2010: Shankoff played in 11 of 13 games for Penn State last year, scoring four points off a goal and three assists, raising his career total to seven points. Shankoff scored his goal against Drexel on April 10.
2009: Shankoff played in every game for Penn State and started on defensive midfield for the Nittany Lions. He dished off one assist and collected 18 ground balls.
2008: Shankoff played in 13 games and scored two points off one goal and one assists. He grabbed 22 ground balls and took five shots.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Shankoff scored 42 goals and had 20 assists as a senior, garnering second team All-state and first team all-conference laurels. As captain, he led his lacrosse team to the Group 4 State Championship, wrapping up a stunning string of three straight state titles. He was also senior captain of Hunterdon Central[apos]s football team, starting at quarterback and leading HCHS to the Group 4 state title on the gridiron. He is the son of Karen and Michael Shankoff and has two sisters, Alissa and Jenna. Shankoff is a finance major.
