2019-20 - SENIOR
2020 Spring: Appeared in 10 singles and 10 doubles matches. Earned three singles wins. Teamed with Samantha Smith for a team-high seven doubles victories. Finished career with the Nittany Lions in the top 25 in all-time singles victories. Spring season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 Fall: Played in two tournaments, including five singles and five doubles matches. Accumulated two singles win and one doubles win over Liberty with partner Hanna Wikberg.
2018-19 - JUNIOR
2019 Spring: Played in 18 singles and 20 doubles matches… Accumulated eight singles wins including a Big 10 victory over Iowa… Hanley and Samantha Smith totaled eight doubles wins with a conference victory over Purdue.
2018 Fall: Competed in two tournaments throughout the fall season, including four singles matches and five doubles matches. Made it to the round of 16 in doubles at ITA Regionals with partner Samantha Smith.
2017-18 - SOPHOMORE
2018 Spring: Played in 21 singles matches in the spring and 16 doubles matches… singles matches were highlighted by a win over Mary Ann Rompf of Wisconsin, 7-5, 5-7, 6-3, to secure a 4-3 victory over the Badgers... Hanley and Samantha Smith capped off spring doubles by securing a win over No. 48 Daniela Novak and Sasha Belaya of Illinois, 7-6 (7-5).
2017 Fall: Saw action in three tournaments. Had eight singles matches, winning four. Singles wins were highlighted at the UNCW Invitational where she picked up three wins. Paired with Bennett Dunn in doubles to post a winning record of 4-3, good for second most doubles wins as a pair on the team.
2016-17 - FRESHMAN
2017 Spring: Hanley recorded 36 singles matches and 26 doubles matches throughout the season. Had four Big Ten singles wins against Wisconsin, Nebraska, Maryland and Purdue. Had three Big Ten doubles wins against Minnesota, Iowa and Purdue.
2016 Fall: Made 15 singles and seven doubles appearances. Picked up doubles wins with partner Samantha Smith agaisnt Drexel University and College of William and Mary. Recorded a singles win agianst #8 Montana Moore of #1 Tyler JC 6-2, 6-3. Defeated Christina Makarova of #10Duke University 6-3, 0-6, 1-0.
JUNIOR CAREER
Ranked No. 56 nationally and holds a No. 3 rank in the state of Maryland. Hanley also holds achievements in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Region with a rank of No. 2 in girls 18 singles, two National Open doubles titles, singles and doubles champion of Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) her freshman, junior, and senior years, and was a team member of Washington Posts First team All-Met Spring, 2015. Hanley was undefeated in all four years of her high school play in singles action. She was a member of the National Honors Society, a Student Ambassador member, and a member of her Student Government at her high school.
