The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

Online registration ends 2 days prior to the camp, unless the camp is full.

Elite High School Camp, July 12-14
Grades 9-12 
(15U/16U/18U)
Birth Years: Students born in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009


The Penn State Elite High School Camp is designed for those who are looking to continue their participation in hockey at the NCAA level and want to gain insight on options available at the college level. In addition, players will be exposed to elite College and Pro Coaches.  Camp will run until 4:00 p.m. each day.

Early registration is encouraged.
Grades 9-12:  60 skaters and 8 goalies

Features of the Elite Camp:

  • Detailed instruction from Penn State Coaching Staff
  • On ice instruction
  • Off ice instruction
  • Access to Penn State Men’s Ice Hockey facilities
  • Sports Health staff available for instruction and all games

Fee:  $500 per skater (includes instruction, lunch each day, camp jersey, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Goalie Fee:  $450 per goalie (includes instruction, lunch each day, camp jersey, no housing)

Penn State Athletics Employee Fee:  $400 per skater

(Must be Penn State Athletics, University Park Employee)
***To be eligible for the Penn State Athletics Employee fee per NCAA regulations, the camper must be a child of the Penn State Athletics University Park employee completing the registration online. There is no limit to the number of campers enrolled by one Penn State employee provided that all campers being enrolled are children of the Penn State employee who is completing the registration online and providing the payment.

Meal:  A lunch will be provided each day. Bring a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided. 
 


Nittany Lion 14U Camp, July 12-14
Grades 5-8
Birth Years: Students Born in 2010,2011, 2012, 2013


The Penn State Nittany Lion 14U Camp is open to students in grades 5-8. This camp accommodates 14U players looking to develop fundamental skills for playing more effectively as an individual and a team member. Emphasis is placed on both individual and team skills and concepts as well as stickhandling and coaches talks.  Camp will run until 4:00 p.m. each day.

Early registration is encouraged.

Camp Acceptance
(Applies to all camps)

Applications will be processed by position on a first-come, first-serve basis until the session is filled. Because of the organization of the camp instructional program, it is necessary to accept applicants on the basis of age level and position played. For this reason, applicants of certain positions will be closed out when positions are filled.
 

Equipment for Camp

Campers should bring their own hockey sticks, skates, hockey padding, throat guards are recommended, helmet with face guard and mouth guard. Goalies must bring their own equipment (goalie pads and throat guard is mandatory). Personal equipment will NOT be shared. Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
